Mapimí & Ojuela Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Durango and set off for Mapimí, one of Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos (Magic Towns). Upon arrival, you will have 1 hour of free time for breakfast.

Next, we will visit the Benito Juárez Museum, once the home of the "Benemérito de las Américas" during the itinerant Republic. Inside, you will see his room, documents, utensils, and paintings of the indigenous politician.

On our way out, we will pass by the house where revolutionary priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla once stayed and visit the Church of Santiago Apóstol, notable for its Baroque and Mudejar details from the 18th century.

Afterwards, we will continue to the abandoned village of Ojuela and cross the suspension bridge, which was used to transport minerals from the Santa Rita mine, discovered in 1598. A guided tour will provide historical insights.

At the end of the tour, you will have 1 hour of free time for lunch before we return to Durango, with an estimated arrival time 12 hours later at your hotel.
