Description
Osborne Castle, located in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, served as the summer retreat of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the 19th century. This ticket grants access to the gardens and the royal rooms of the palace, designed in the style of Italian Renaissance buildings.
Visitors will observe the lavish furniture and intricate details in the corridors and personal spaces of the Queen and her nine children. The interior was meticulously designed to reflect the monarch's taste, as she passed away within its walls in 1901.
During the visit, guests can also explore Osborne Castle's private beach, where Queen Victoria reportedly learned to swim.
Opening hours
Osborne Castle is open from 10 am to 4 pm. The last admission is two hours prior to closing time. Note that these hours are flexible and may change.
