Day 1
The tour departs from 60 High Street, Edinburgh. Enjoy views of the Forth Bridge en route to the Highlands, passing through Perthshire. The first stop is Dunkeld, known for its cathedral and the River Tay. Continue to the Great Glen, a 62-mile valley, and reach Fort Augustus to explore Loch Ness and search for Nessie. Next, visit Eilean Donan Castle before arriving at the Isle of Skye, spending the night in Portree.
Day 2
Explore the Isle of Skye, learning about its myths and legends, including Bonnie Prince Charlie. Visit the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock with its waterfall, and Dunvegan Castle. Overnight in Portree.
Day 3
Spend more time in Skye before taking a ferry to Mallaig. Enjoy views from the coach, including Glenfinnan Viaduct. Visit the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre before travelling through Glencoe and Rannoch Moor, returning to Edinburgh around 8:30 pm at Waterloo Place.
Itinerary Changes
Winter itineraries differ, with Dunvegan Castle visited only in summer. From mid-October to mid-April, the third day includes the Skye Bridge and Commando Memorial with views of Ben Nevis. Routes may change, but attractions remain the same.
