Tour Details
Day 1
Departure from Edinburgh on 60 High Street. Enjoy views of the Forth Bridge and travel through Perthshire. First stop is Dunkeld, followed by the Great Glen, a 62-mile valley. Arrive at Fort Augustus for Loch Ness exploration. Continue to the Isle of Skye, visiting Eilean Donan Castle en route, and spend the night in Portree.
Day 2
Explore the Isle of Skye, learning about its myths and legends. Visit the Cuillin Mountains, the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock with its waterfall, and Dunvegan Castle. Overnight in Portree.
Day 3
Final day in Skye before taking the ferry to Mallaig. Enjoy views of Glenfinnan Viaduct. Visit Dundreggan Rewilding Centre before returning south through Glencoe and Rannoch Moor, arriving in Edinburgh around 8:30 pm to conclude the tour.
Itinerary Changes
Winter itineraries differ, with Dunvegan Castle visited only in summer. From mid-October to mid-April, the third day includes the Skye Bridge and Commando Memorial with views of Ben Nevis. Tours may run in reverse, but attractions remain the same.
