Tour Details
Day 1
Departure from Edinburgh at 60 High Street. We will enjoy views of the Forth Bridge and travel through Perthshire, stopping in Dunkeld to see its cathedral by the River Tay. Continuing north, we enter the 62-mile-long Great Glen, ultimately arriving at Fort Augustus for time at Loch Ness. Next, we visit the iconic Eilean Donan Castle before reaching our first night's accommodation in Portree, Isle of Skye.
Day 2
Full day exploring the Isle of Skye. Learn about local myths and legends, including Bonnie Prince Charlie's escape. Sites include the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and Dunvegan Castle. We will spend another night in Portree.
Day 3
On the final day, we explore more of Skye before taking the ferry to Mallaig. Enjoy views of the Glenfinnan Viaduct and visit the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre. We return south, passing through Glencoe and Rannoch Moor, arriving in Edinburgh by approximately 8:30 pm at Waterloo Place.
Itinerary Changes
Winter itineraries differ; Dunvegan Castle is only visited in summer. From mid-October to mid-April, the Skye Bridge and Commando Memorial will be included instead of Dunvegan Castle. The tour may run in reverse, yet all attractions will remain.
Tour Accommodation
All packages include Bed and Breakfast accommodations in Portree, with breakfast included and no other meals provided.

Castles are open from April to October; alternatives may be offered from October to April.Dunvegan Castle and Eilean Donan Castle are optional extras, payable on the day.No ferry rides between April 14-27, 2025; transport to Skye will be via bus.
