Make the most of your time in Edinburgh admiring one of the emblematic feats of civil engineering on this boat tour of the bridges of the Firth of Forth.

Forth Boat Tour

At your selected time, make your way to Hawes Pier in South Queensferry. Here you'll board a boat for your tour of the Forth of Firth.

During the hour and a half long cruise, you'll admire the Forth Bridge, a symbol of Scotland and an emblem of civil engineering. This landmark has been significant since its construction in the late 19th century as the largest piece of engineering in the UK at that time. You'll cruise under this impressive structure and learn about it through recorded commentary on the boat.

The tour will also include a view of the Forth Road Bridge, opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1964, connecting South Queensferry and North Queensferry across the Forth. Additionally, you will see the Queensferry Crossing, the tallest bridge in the United Kingdom.

At the end of the boat tour of the Forth bridges, you'll return to the original departure point.
