Tour Details
We'll meet at the Johnnie Walker shop on Princes Street to begin our tour of Edinburgh's most popular tourist attractions. First, we'll head to Charlotte Square, then to Rose Street and George Street, sharing surprising facts about Edinburgh, including information about Hotel Balmoral and the Scott Monument.
Next, we'll visit the National Gallery of Scotland, which houses works from prominent artists like Sir Henry Raeburn, Alexander Nasmyth, and the Glasgow Boys & Girls. You'll have free time for lunch in a city center restaurant before we continue our tour in the Old Town.
In this area, we will see Greyfriars Kirkyard, the famous Royal Mile, and St Giles' Cathedral. The tour will conclude with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, where we will take a guided tour of the interior, including St Margaret's Chapel, the prisons, the Great Hall, and view the One O'Clock Gun.
After a 5 to 5.5-hour tour exploring Edinburgh's history, we'll conclude at the Castle exit.
