On this full tour of Edinburgh, we'll visit the city's most important monuments and museums, including Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish National Gallery, and The Georgian House.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the Johnnie Walker shop on Princes Street to start the tour of Edinburgh's most popular tourist attractions. The tour begins with a visit to Charlotte Square, followed by Rose Street and George Street, where we will share facts about the Hotel Balmoral and the Scott Monument.

Next, we will visit the National Gallery of Scotland, featuring works by notable artists like Sir Henry Raeburn and the Glasgow Boys & Girls. After this, you will have free time for lunch in the city centre.

Post-lunch, we will explore the Old Town, viewing Greyfriars Kirkyard, the Royal Mile, and St Giles' Cathedral. The tour concludes with a visit to Edinburgh Castle, where we will take a guided tour, entering St Margaret's Chapel, the prisons, and the Great Hall, and witnessing the One O'Clock Gun.

The tour lasts 5 to 6 hours, after which we will conclude at the Castle exit.
