Ghost Tour of Edinburgh

Wars, murders, witch burnings, and many other periods throughout Edinburgh's history have made it a notoriously haunted city.

This walking tour will begin at the William Chambers Monument and will take you away from the traditional routes through the city into the dark corners which hide Edinburgh's most sinister secrets.

Throughout the walking tour, the guide will thrill you with macabre tales from days gone by. You'll learn about witches and ghosts from the city's past and find out which ones are still lurking around today.

While walking through the city, you'll explore iconic places in search of signs of ghosts and ghouls. The itinerary will cover important historical sites such as Edinburgh Castle, Grey Friars Kirkyard, and the Old Tollbooth Prison. Fun games and quizzes will be included throughout the tour.

After a total of 2 hours, our tour of Edinburgh's mysteries and secrets will conclude on Royal Mile at St Giles Cathedral.
