Harry Potter Train Tour

Prepare your Hogwarts wand and robes. We will meet at High Street in Edinburgh at the scheduled time and board a bus to Mallaig, with a journey duration of around 4 hours.

During the bus ride, we'll cross the Forth Bridge, leading to the Kingdom of Fife and Perth. In Mallaig, we will board the Jacobite steam locomotive, which serves as the Hogwarts Express for this tour. This will include a 2-hour journey where we will enjoy some of Scotland's most spectacular landscapes.

Along the route, we will travel through the Scottish Highlands and cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct, a prominent location from the Harry Potter series.

After 12.5 hours of activities, we will return to the starting point in Edinburgh.

Additional Info

Note that the line between Fort William and Mallaig will be closed from September 1-5, 2025, due to maintenance work, and no services will operate during this period.

For safety, the steam train will not operate during fire risk or very high temperature conditions, and an alternative standard train will be used in those cases.
