Loch Ness & the Scottish Highlands: 2 Day Tour Itinerary

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from the meeting point in Edinburgh. The first stop is Luss, a conservation village on the banks of Loch Lomond. Your route will take you alongside the loch and through Scotland's rugged countryside, admiring Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount mountain range before arriving at Glencoe, where you'll stop to explore this historic site of the Clan Macdonald Massacre in 1692.

Next, continue to Fort William, located under Ben Nevis, Britain's tallest mountain, for lunch. The journey then takes you around the shoreline of Loch Ness, where you will see the ruins of Urquhart Castle, concluding the first day in Inverness, where you'll spend the night in a hotel.

On the second day, you can customize your itinerary with options such as visiting Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, or participating in a whisky tasting at Dalwhinnie Distillery.

After lunch, travel south to Ruthven Barracks and The Hermitage for a walk in the woodlands (available in summer). Finally, return to Edinburgh, arriving around 7:30 pm.
