Itinerary

Day 1: Eilat - Aqaba - Wadi Rum

The tour begins in Eilat, departing via bus into Jordan to visit Aqaba. Highlights include the narrow streets and the grand mosque, followed by a visit to a 16th-century Ottoman fortress for views of the surrounding border regions. After exploring Aqaba, there will be free time for lunch before proceeding to Wadi Rum for a 4x4 desert safari, showcasing unusual landscapes and filming locations. The day concludes at a camp for dinner and overnight stay in the desert.

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Eilat

On the second day, the focus is on Petra, located two hours from Wadi Rum. Travelers have the option to buy a picnic for breakfast on the bus. The guided tour of Petra covers the site's history, featuring its renowned temples and tombs carved from cliffs. Visitors will learn about the Nabataeans and their interactions with the Roman Empire. The tour includes visits to iconic structures such as the Tomb of the Obelisks, Theatre, and Treasury, along with two hours of free time at the site. After lunch, the group returns to Israel, with an estimated arrival back in Eilat at 19:30.
