Itinerary
Day 1: Eilat - Aqaba - Wadi Rum
We will meet at the agreed meeting point in Eilat and board a bus to enter Jordan for a visit to Aqaba. The tour will include viewing the grand mosque and a 16th-century Ottoman fortress with views of the borders of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. After a free time for lunch, we will head to Wadi Rum for a 4x4 desert safari to explore the unique landscapes of the Valley of the Moon. We will end the day at our camp, enjoying the sunset and dinner.
Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Eilat
The second day will be focused on visiting Petra, a two-hour drive from Wadi Rum. A picnic breakfast can be purchased for the bus ride. The guided tour of Petra will cover its history and significant buildings, including the Tomb of the Obelisks, the Theatre, and the Treasury, along with two hours of free time at the site. After lunch, we will return to Israel, arriving in Eilat by 19:30.
