Day 1: Eilat - Petra

Are you ready to discover one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World? We will pick you up from your hotel in Eilat at the designated time, and then we'll set off as we cross over to the Jordanian border.

Within less than 2 hours, we will reach our destination. Did you know that Petra was a filming location for an Indiana Jones movie? It has also been recognized as a World Heritage Site and has its origins rooted more than 2300 years ago? These stories and more await you!

Join us for a guided exploration of Petra, where we'll delve into its rich history, witnessing the rise and decline of this ancient city, once the center of the Nabataean Civilization. As we marvel at the various rock formations including the iconic Treasury, the Royal Tombs, and the amphitheater, make sure to capture the essence with your camera!

In the evening, we will visit a local restaurant for dinner, followed by time to unwind in Wadi Musa. Afterward, we will return to the hotel and say our farewells until the next day.

Day 2: Petra - Eilat

Good morning! On the second day, breakfast will be served at the hotel before we head back to Petra.

Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to wander through the site at your leisure. This allows you to see the sights you may have missed the previous day, and if time permits, capture many photos of the famous Rose City. You can explore the Petra Monastery, the Great Temple, the colonnaded street, and the Djin blocks, among other remarkable locations.

In the evening, we will board the coach to commence our return to Israel, arriving back at the hotel in Eilat by approximately 8 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes a night’s stay with breakfast at either the 3-star Venus Petra Hotel or the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, based on your preference. In both cases, accommodations will be provided in double rooms located in Wadi Musa. Should either hotel be fully booked, we will arrange comparable lodging in the same category you selected.

1-Day Trip to Petra

If you prefer a more concise journey, consider the 1-day Petra option, which offers a packed itinerary but allows you to return to Eilat by 8 pm on the same evening. This alternative includes entry to the archaeological site, a guided tour, and lunch.
