Esterházy Palace Tour

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of the Esterházy Palace to begin our guided tour of the rooms and exhibitions in this summer residence located in Eisenstadt. We will explore the rooms that were home to the Esterházy family, while sharing the stories of its notable members, particularly Melinda Esterházy.

During the tour, we will see a range of historical pieces and treasures from the Esterházy collection, which includes the largest collection of neoclassical silverware in the world. A highlight of the tour is the Haydn Room, named for composer Joseph Haydn, who served the family for nearly 40 years. This baroque hall, constructed between 1663 and 1672, was the site of parties and banquets and is recognized as one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world.

After one hour, we will conclude the guided tour at the entrance of the Esterházy Palace, allowing you to continue exploring the building independently.
