Activity Overview

Upon booking your adventure, you can select your preferred experience in Cerro Frías. Each option comes with convenient pickup and drop-off either at your hotel or a designated meeting spot in El Calafate.

4x4 Jeep Expedition

We will ascend Cerro Frías hill aboard a 4x4 Jeep, which enables us to navigate through the rugged mountain trails overlooking Lake Argentino. A stop will be made at a viewpoint situated 450 meters above sea level to soak in the breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Centinela River Valley. Continuing our climb, we will reach a second viewpoint at 1030 meters, offering stunning views of the Torres del Paine, Boca del Diablo, and the majestic peaks of the Andes.

Horseback Riding Experience

This journey will lead us through the Patagonian plains and wetlands on horseback, guiding us to the lower slopes of Cerro Frías. After a 30-minute ride, we will encounter the charming natural vistas of the Centinela Valley and the Torres del Paine. Additionally, we will have the chance to observe the native wildlife that calls this region home, including cows, guanacos, hares, armadillos, and skunks.

Tour with Lunch

Opting for the lunch package means you will savor a delicious meal at the restaurant located on the southern slope of Cerro Frías. Lunch features a hearty Patagonian stew and dessert. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.

Tour with Afternoon Snack

The tour that includes an afternoon snack features tea, coffee, or hot chocolate paired with a sweet treat.

Tour with Dinner

Dinner encompasses three courses: empanadas, lentil stew, and a brownie topped with dulce de leche.

Pickup Information

We provide pickup service from hotels, Airbnbs, and private residences in central El Calafate. For those staying in more remote locations, please proceed to the designated meeting point at Cerro Frias Office, located at 35 Tomás Espora Street.
