Desert Lake Excursion + Vespignani Glacier Trek

The tour begins with a hotel pickup in El Calafate at the scheduled time, followed by a bus excursion to El Chaltén. A break will be made next to the La Leona River during the three-hour journey.

Upon arrival in El Chaltén, we will follow an impressive panoramic road through forests to the Desert Lake. Here, we will take a 30-minute boat trip to observe the Huemul and Creston glaciers.

After disembarking at the base of the Vespignani glacier, we will begin our trekking route in the nature reserve, which can last between 15 to 45 minutes depending on your chosen trail's difficulty.

After taking in the Patagonian landscape and views of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy, we will have lunch. We will then return by boat to the bus for the journey back to El Calafate.

After a 14-hour excursion, the activity will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel.
