El Calafate Balcony ATV Trip

Argentino Lake, the Stone Labyrinth, and the Stone of the Hats are some of the natural sights on this ATV tour of the balconies of El Calafate.

Description

At the scheduled time, hotel pickup begins for an ATV trip through the Huyliche mountain range to the balconies of El Calafate. The tour reaches altitudes of 1,100 metres, providing views of the Andes Mountains, Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the steppe, and Lake Argentino.

After a photo stop at Cerro Huyliche, a short hike leads to the El Calafate Balconies for an informational talk on the geography and geology of the area, including Cerro Fitz Roy, Lake Argentino, and the Perito Moreno Glacier.

The descent continues via 4x4 vehicle to Estancia Huyliche, a cattle ranch from the 1920s. There, a break for lunch or snack follows, based on tour timing.

Meals include a meat empanada, beef casserole, chocolate brownie, and drinks. A Premium wine upgrade is available. Snack options consist of coffee, tea, juice, homemade cake, scones, and pastries, with gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives offered.

After 4 hours of exploration, return to El Calafate for hotel drop-off.
