El Chalten and Mirador Condores Trip
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate and set off along Route 40. This road will take us through stunning landscapes, around Lake Argentino and across the Santa Cruz and La Leona rivers.
After a brief pause next to La Leona, we will continue along Route 40 alongside Lake Viedma with the Andes Mountains in the background. The road trip ends in El Chaltén, where we will visit its Interpretation Centre. From there, we will begin a gentle hike lasting about an hour and a quarter.
At the end of the trail, the Mirador de los Cóndores viewpoint awaits us, where we will enjoy a panorama of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy, along with views of the surrounding glacial landscapes.
After taking photos, we will walk back to El Chaltén for a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, including a main course and a non-alcoholic beverage of sparkling or mineral water. Afterward, we will take another 30-minute hike to the Chorrillo del Salto waterfall. Remember to bring your camera to capture these cascades!
After viewing the waterfall, we will return to El Chaltén, where you will have one hour of free time to explore the town. Finally, we will return to El Calafate, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for between 8 and 9 pm.
