El Chalten and Mirador Condores Trip
At the scheduled time, pick-up from your hotel in El Calafate will occur, followed by a journey along Route 40, showcasing Patagonian landscapes, Lake Argentino, and the Santa Cruz and La Leona rivers.
After a short break by La Leona, continue along Route 40 next to Lake Viedma, leading to the mountain village of El Chaltén. A visit to the Interpretation Centre will precede a gentle hike lasting about an hour and a quarter.
The hike culminates at the Mirador de los Cóndores viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy, along with surrounding glacial landscapes.
Post-hike, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, including a main course and a non-alcoholic beverage. Following lunch, partake in a 30-minute hike to the Chorrillo del Salto waterfall. Bring a camera for photos.
After viewing the waterfall, return to El Chaltén for one hour of free time to explore the town. Finally, regroup for the return to El Calafate, with arrival at your hotel scheduled between 8 and 9 pm.
