We begin the tour from the meeting point, heading towards the town of El Chaltén, the national capital of trekking, 220 km away.
Halfway there, after crossing the Santa Cruz River, we will stop technically at Estancia La Leona, where you can use the services and enjoy the sweet homemade delicacies of the place (not included).
We continue on to El Chaltén, bordering Lake Viedma and its glacier. During the tour, if the weather permits, we will have stunning views of Cerros Chaltén (also known as Fitz Roy) and Torre.
Once we arrive at the mountain town of El Chaltén, we will take some simple walks, visiting the Mirador de los Cóndores, a 700-meter trek with little physical demand. Then we will visit Chorrillo del Salto, it is a walk of about 300 completely flat meters. They are always accompanied by the guide at all times.
Lunch will be given at a restaurant in the centre of El Chaltén, homemade food and drinks included. To finish, you will take about 30 minutes to explore the downtown area and then head back.
