El Galpón Farm Trip
For those seeking a unique experience in Argentina, the Estancia El Galpón offers various activities that highlight the traditional Argentinian lifestyle.
Pickup starts at 4:30 pm from your hotel, followed by a 20-minute trip to the farm, where you will be welcomed with a 100% homemade snack.
Participants will explore the farm, observing sheep grazing alongside gauchos and herding dogs.
Next, a walk along the shores of Lake Argentino will allow for learning about Patagonian wildlife while enjoying the sounds of birds.
The tour includes a visit to a 1912 barn to learn about sheep shearing and wool quality.
At dinner, enjoy a typical Patagonian dish of roast lamb with salads and vegetables. After the meal, you will return to your hotel in El Calafate, arriving around 10 pm.
