El Galpón Farm Trip
For a unique experience in Argentina, the Estancia El Galpón farmhouse offers activities to immerse in traditional Argentinian lifestyle. Hotel pickups start at 4:30 pm, with a travel time of 20 minutes to the farm, where you will be welcomed with a 100% homemade snack.
Guests will explore the farm, observing sheep grazing alongside gauchos and herding dogs. After meeting the local cattle, enjoy a short walk along the shores of Lake Argentino, where guests can learn about Patagonian wildlife while listening to birds.
The tour includes a visit to a 1912 barn to learn about sheep shearing and wool quality.
For dinner, enjoy a typical Patagonian dish of roast lamb with salads and vegetables. After dinner, return to El Calafate hotels, arriving by around 10 pm.
