Why Visit the Glaciarium?
Visiting the Glaciarium is a way to learn about the origins of Patagonian glaciers. You will explore two halls with information about Patagonian ice, listen to the sound of melting ice, view photographs of glaciers by various photographers, and interact with screens that address climate change effects on glaciers like Upsala. The experience includes a flight over the glaciers in the Glaciarium cinema, where the film lasts about two hours, but you can watch it for as long as you prefer.
Your ticket includes a transfer service from El Calafate to the Glaciarium, departing from the Secretaría de Turismo office at the Municipal Parking Lot on Calle Primero de Mayo (next to Avenida del Libertador San Martín).
