Do you want to sail across Lake Argentino and hike through the Los Glaciares National Park? This tour includes hiking and sailing through these icy landscapes.

Tour Details

This trip provides an opportunity to explore Los Glaciares National Park through hiking trails and boat sailing, allowing views of Patagonia's landscapes. After pickup from your hotel, we will head to the port of Punta Bandera for a boat trip along the Canal de los Témpanos in Lake Argentino.

Our first stop is at Toro Bay, where we will undertake a 45-minute hike to view the wildlife of the Patagonian forest, including white oaks and Antarctic beech trees, and see a century-old guindo tree. A break will take place at a waterfall along the trail. The return trip includes sights of the hanging glaciers of Cerro Negro and Cerro Mayo with a one-hour hike, followed by a lunch stop with panoramic views.

Next, we will sail to the Perito Moreno glacier, where you'll have one hour to walk along footbridges that provide views of the nearly 80-metre high ice wall. The tour concludes back at Punta Bandera, with transportation back to El Calafate, lasting a total of 10 hours.
