Do you want to sail across Lake Argentino and hike through the Los Glaciares National Park? This tour includes hiking and sailing through these icy landscapes.

Tour Details

This trip offers a chance to explore Los Glaciares National Park through hiking trails and boat sailing, providing views of Patagonia's landscapes. After hotel pickup, we head to Punta Bandera to embark on a boat trip along the Canal de los Témpanos.

Our first stop is Toro Bay, where a 45-minute hike reveals the wildlife of the Patagonian forest, including white oaks and Antarctic beech trees. We will see a century-old guindo tree with a trunk over three metres in diameter.

We will continue walking to a waterfall for a rest before heading back to the boat, approaching the hanging glaciers of Cerro Negro and Cerro Mayo. This steep walk lasts about an hour, with stops to enjoy panoramic views and eat.

Next, we sail to the Perito Moreno glacier, where you will have an hour of free time to explore the footbridges with views of the approximately 80-metre high ice wall. We return to Punta Bandera, arriving back in El Calafate after a total of 10 hours.
