Marvel at the icebergs of Los Glaciares National Park on this excursion from El Calafate. You'll also enjoy a pleasant boat ride through this great natural space.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate and take National Route 11. From this road, which runs parallel to Lake Argentino, we'll enjoy excellent views of the largest lagoon in Patagonia.

After a 40-minute drive, we'll arrive at the pier of Puerto Bandera, where we'll embark on an unforgettable boat ride to see the glaciers. We'll start this journey by entering the northern arm of Lake Argentino, where we'll cross the Boca del Diablo (Devil's Mouth). While we take in these stunning landscapes, we'll see a large group of icebergs. Their intense bluish tone is sure to catch your attention!

Our journey will continue on to the great ice barrier, where we'll see the detachments of the Upsala Glacier, the largest in the park. The route will pass next to the Heim, the Peineta, the Seco and the Spegazzini glacier, the highest of them all! We'll then dock in front of this last glacier for a brief low-intensity hike next to Glacier Bay.

The trail will take us to the Spegazzini Refuge, where you can have lunch on your own. We'll then regroup to take the boat back to the pier of Puerto Bandera. From there, we'll return to your hotel in El Calafate, where we'll arrive after 10 hours of excursion.
