Marvel at the icebergs of Los Glaciares National Park on this excursion from El Calafate. You'll also enjoy a pleasant boat ride through this great natural space.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate and take National Route 11, enjoying views of Lake Argentino. After a 40-minute drive, we'll arrive at the pier of Puerto Bandera for our boat ride to see the glaciers.

We'll enter the northern arm of Lake Argentino and cross Boca del Diablo (Devil's Mouth), observing a large group of icebergs along the way. Our journey will take us to the great ice barrier and the Upsala Glacier, followed by views of the Heim, the Peineta, the Seco, and the Spegazzini glacier. We'll dock in front of the Spegazzini glacier for a brief low-intensity hike next to Glacier Bay.

The trail leads to the Spegazzini Refuge, where you can have lunch on your own. Afterward, we'll regroup to return by boat to the pier of Puerto Bandera, with arrival back at your hotel in El Calafate after 10 hours of excursion.
