Boat Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we will meet at your hotel in El Calafate and drive to the Nibepo Aike ranch, located next to the Brazo Rico on the southern shore of Lake Argentino.
During the ranch visit, we will explore rural Argentine customs and traditions. The visit includes a shearing demonstration and observing tasks carried out by gauchos.
After the activities, a traditional Patagonian lunch will be served, consisting of roast lamb with salad, local wine, and a dulce de leche crêpe. Post-lunch, we will head to Lake Argentino for a boat ride on the Brazo Rico.
We will stop at Monedas Beach for a walk through a lenga beech forest, leading to a viewpoint of the Perito Moreno Glacier, accessible only on this excursion.
After the views, we will return to the boat for a trip along the south face of Perito Moreno, enjoying a glass of whisky with glacier ice and chocolates. Another land stop will allow us to view the glacier from the Perito Moreno footbridges, timed to avoid crowds.
We will then sail back to Lake Argentino and return to El Calafate, with an arrival at your hotel scheduled for 10 hours after pickup.
