Torres del Paine National Park Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate and head south onboard an all-terrain truck. After crossing the Patagonian steppes via an old section of Route 40 called "La Cortada", we will arrive at Torres del Paine National Park. The tour starts at the viewpoint on the shores of Sarmiento Lake.
We will proceed to the upper viewpoint of Cuernos del Paine and enjoy a panoramic view of Torres del Paine from the Rio Paine waterfall, which leads to Laguna Amarga. A delicious picnic lunch will be provided, featuring a meat, cheese, and onion sandwich, ham & cheese empanada, alfajores, sweet pudding, nuts, fruit juice, mineral water, and candy.
After lunch, we will visit the viewpoints of Nordenskjold Lake and Salto Grande, followed by a 1.5-hour trekking route to enjoy the landscapes of turquoise waters and steep, snow-capped mountains.
The tour concludes at the final viewpoint by Pehoe Lake for a view of the French Valley with the Cuernos del Paine. We will return to your hotel in El Calafate, arriving around 9 pm.
