Torres del Paine National Park Trip
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate and head south onboard an all-terrain truck.
We will cross the Patagonian steppes via the old section of Route 40 called "La Cortada", arriving at Torres del Paine National Park. The tour begins at the viewpoint on the banks of Sarmiento Lake.
Next, we visit the upper viewpoint of Cuernos del Paine and enjoy a panoramic view of Torres del Paine from the Rio Paine waterfall, leading to Laguna Amarga.
Afterward, we return to the vehicle and again visit the Rio Paine waterfall, where we will have a picnic lunch that includes a meat, cheese, and onion sandwich, ham & cheese empanada, alfajores, pudding, nuts, juice, water, and candy.
Post-lunch, we will explore the viewpoints of Nordenskjold Lake and Salto Grande. This will be followed by a 1.5-hour trekking route to appreciate the landscapes of turquoise waters and steep, snow-capped mountains.
The final viewpoint is by Pehoe Lake, overlooking the French Valley with Cuernos del Paine in the background. We will return to your hotel in El Calafate around 9 pm.
