Discover one of the most beautiful spots in all of the Patagonian Andes when you take this amazing trek to the Cagliero Glacier. You will encounter some of the world's most impressive landscapes.

Cagliero Glacier Trek

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in El Chaltén before departing for Los Huemules Reserve, located around 10 miles (16 km) away.

We will enter Los Glaciares National Park and then begin our trek. The first leg will take us through a forest and provide views of the Fitz Roy mountain, which rises over 11,000 feet. This stage concludes at Laguna del Diablo (The Devil's Lagoon), where we will equip ourselves with harness and helmet to climb the via Ferrata route.

After scaling the steep slopes, we will arrive at the Vivac Cagliero base camp. There we will put on crampons and embark on a two-hour hike along the glacier.

After the experience of walking on ice, we will return to Los Huemules, where you will have time to eat (not included). Then we will take you back to your hotel in El Chaltén, completing a total of 10 hours.
