Travel back in time to ancient Egypt and witness the majestic three pyramids - Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Explore the city of Cairo under the guidance of an expert in local history.

Day Trip Details

After collection from your hotel or the port in Port Said, we will drive through the Nile delta to Cairo.

Our first destination is the pyramids of Giza, located on the outskirts of the city. Here, you will see the three largest pyramids in Egypt - Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. We will also visit the iconic Great Sphinx and learn about its history.

Following this historic visit, we will return to Cairo for a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum. We will explore its various rooms, admiring the sarcophagus, sculptures, and other pieces of Egyptian art.

A lunch break will follow in the city centre, where you can enjoy typical cuisine. After lunch, we will proceed to the Coptic district of Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, built on the remains of the ancient Babylon Fortress.
