Cairo Day Trip and Giza Pyramids

Travel back in time to ancient Egypt and witness the majestic three pyramids - Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Explore the city of Cairo under the guidance of an expert in local history, who will reveal all the fascinating legends that surround this place.

Day Trip Details

After collecting you from your hotel or the port in Port Said, we'll drive through the delta of the Nile to Cairo on an air-conditioned bus.

Our first destination is the pyramids of Giza, located on the outskirts of the city. Here, you'll encounter the three largest pyramids in the country: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. We'll also see the iconic Great Sphinx and learn about its history from our expert guide.

Following this visit, we'll return to the capital for a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum. We will explore its various rooms, admiring the sarcophagus, sculptures, and numerous pieces of Egyptian art.

We'll take a break for lunch in the city center, enjoying typical food, before heading into the Coptic district of Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, built on the remnants of the ancient Babylon Fortress.

At the end of the evening, we'll return to Port Said.
