Day Trip Details

After collecting you from your hotel, or the port, in Port Said, we'll drive through the delta of the Nile to the Egyptian capital, Cairo on an air-conditioned bus.

Our first destination is the pyramids of Giza, situated on the outskirts of the city. This visit to one of the most spectacular locations on the planet is an experience that you'll never forget. Here you'll encounter the three largest, most famous pyramids in the country - Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. We'll also see the iconic Great Sphinx and hear all about its history thanks to our expert guide.

Following this trip through history, we'll return to the capital and take a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum. We'll stroll through its different rooms, admiring the sarcophagus, sculptures, and many other pieces of Egyptian art.

We'll then pause to regain our energy with lunch in the city centre. After tasting the typical food, we'll head into the Coptic district of Cairo and to the Hanging Church, constructed on the remains of the ancient Babylon Fortress.

At the end of the evening, we'll return to Port Said.
