Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from Hotel Posada del Hidalgo and travel by minibus to the Fuerte River for a rafting trip.

After a short trip, we'll arrive at the riverbanks and board a raft for a 1 hour and 45-minute trip. As we navigate, we will discuss characteristics of the river basin that runs through Chihuahua and Sinaloa and observe local wildlife, including the beaded lizard, which can reach up to 30 centimetres (11.8 inches) long.

During the tour, we'll disembark to explore fascinating petroglyphs left by various indigenous communities of Nahuas groups. We will investigate the enigma of the mask image.

After this exploration, we'll return to the starting point of the journey. Disembarkation will occur, and we will transport you back to the hotel, with an expected arrival time of 2 hours after pickup.
