La Restinga Dolphin & Whale Watching
At 2 pm, we'll meet on Calle Los Saltos in La Restinga and head to the port. We'll board a boat and start cruising through the seas south of El Hierro.
During the boat trip, we'll explore the Mar de las Calmas Marine Reserve and admire El Hierro's volcanic coastline. We'll look for dolphin and whale families that inhabit this area, including pilot whales, dolphins, and possibly beaked whales.
We will use specialised equipment to listen to the sounds made by these animals underwater. You'll also learn about the language and lifestyle of these marine creatures.
Before returning to dry land, we'll stop at Alcuzas Beach where you can take a swim.
Our activity will finish at 5:15 pm at La Restinga Harbour.
