On this visit to the Pago de La Jaraba estate in Villarrobledo, we'll explore the winery, cheese factory, and oil mill, enjoying a complete agritourism experience with tastings of local wines, cheeses, and oils.

Description

We'll meet at the indicated time at the main entrance of the Pago de La Jaraba estate to begin a guided tour of the facilities.

After an introduction on the origin and history of La Jaraba, we'll tour the vineyards on the outskirts of Villarrobledo, stopping at a typical La Mancha mill and proceeding to the olive grove.

Next, we'll visit the livestock area to see the Manchego sheep, known for their high-quality milk used in various dairy products. This will include a visit to the La Jaraba cheese factory to observe the production of Manchego cheeses.

The tour will then continue to the oil mill, where we will learn about the process of making olive oil, a key element of Mediterranean gastronomy. We will then head to the La Jaraba winery to gain insights into the Pago wines, known for their quality under the Protected Designation of Origin.

The guided tour of the estate will last between 2.5 and 3 hours, concluding with a tasting of Manchego wines, cheeses, and oils.
