Day Trip to Tarifa & Baelo Claudia

Upon pickup at the designated time, we will leave El Puerto de Santa María and venture along the stunning Cádiz coastline, exploring its charming villages.

Our first destination will be the archaeological site of Baelo Claudia located near Bolonia beach. Here, you will witness the remnants of the theatre, the forum, and various temples. You'll also learn about the significance of garum production—an adored Roman sauce—within this historic settlement.

Next, we will head to Tarifa, the southernmost city in Western Europe. As we stroll through the area, we will encounter notable sights such as the Puerta de Jerez, the church of San Francisco, and the castle of Guzmán el Bueno. After our tour, you will have approximately 1.5-2 hours of leisure time to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Strait of Gibraltar while savoring a lunch featuring local tuna dishes.

Your adventure will conclude back at the starting location in El Puerto de Santa María, approximately 10 hours after we set out.
