Discover the charm of the Costa de la Luz with this Tarifa & Baelo Claudia Day Trip from El Puerto de Santa María. You'll visit an ancient Roman archaeological site full of history.

Tarifa & Baelo Claudia Day Trip

Once we've picked you up at the indicated time, we will depart El Puerto de Santa María to explore the Cádiz coastline. We will first visit the Baelo Claudia archaeological site near Bolonia beach, where the remains of the theatre, forum, and temples can be seen. We will learn about the importance of garum production in this settlement.

The next stop will be Tarifa, the southernmost city in Western Europe. During our walk, we will see monuments such as the Puerta de Jerez, the church of San Francisco, and Guzmán el Bueno Castle. You will then have 1.5-2 hours of free time to enjoy views of the Strait of Gibraltar and have lunch, with a recommendation to try traditional tuna-based dishes.

The tour concludes back at the starting point in El Puerto de Santa María, approximately 10 hours after pickup.
