Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Esparto Museum, the first stop on this guided tour of El Romeral. The esparto grass culture reveals insights into the lifestyles of Spanish families throughout history. Part of this museum is housed in a traditional Manchegan house dug into the earth, which is recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity site.
Next, we'll visit the Crestería Manchega, home to Spain's best-preserved windmill. Inside, we'll observe the four iconic windmills that define the landscape, taking us back to the era of Don Quixote.
Our journey continues to the Ethnographic Museum, located within a small subway house. Here, we will view different scenes and artifacts that depict the way of life in the past.
The tour concludes after an hour of historical and cultural exploration.
