Tour Overview
We'll gather at the scheduled time at the Esparto Museum, marking the beginning of our journey through El Romeral.
Delving into the esparto grass industry, the museum reveals insights into the daily lives of Spanish families throughout various epochs. Remarkably, part of this museum is housed within a traditional Manchegan domicile, which has been dug into the earth. This unique site is recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity!
Next, we'll proceed to the famed Crestería Manchega, where the best-preserved windmill in Spain awaits. Inside, we'll look up at the four distinctive windmills defining the landscape, transporting us back to the era of Don Quixote.
Our route will then take us to the Ethnographic Museum, which resides within a charming subterranean home. Here, we will explore various exhibits and artifacts that portray the historical way of life.
After an hour filled with cultural discovery and historical insights, we will conclude our tour.
