Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Esparto Museum, the first stop on our guided tour of El Romeral.
The esparto grass culture offers insight into the lifestyles of Spanish families throughout different historical periods. Part of this museum is within a traditional Manchegan house dug into the earth, recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity site.
Next, we'll visit the Crestería Manchega, home to Spain's best-preserved windmill. We will step inside and view the four iconic windmills that line the expansive plain, reminiscent of the era of Don Quixote.
Our final stop will be the Ethnographic Museum, located inside a small subway house. Here we will explore scenes and artifacts that showcase the way of life in the past.
After an hour of exploring history and culture, we'll conclude the tour.
