Whale Watching in Miches

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Las Cañitas tourist pier and go to a small market to have breakfast that includes coffee, tea, juice, sandwiches, and fruit.

Then, we'll board a boat for a cruise during which we'll try to spot the families of humpback whales that inhabit the waters of Samana Bay and other northern areas of the Dominican Republic.

We'll sail for one to one and a half hours, depending on sea conditions, in the Atlantic while admiring the whales. Be prepared with your camera.

During the cruise, you'll discover that the songs of humpback whales can be heard up to 30 kilometers away, and learn about their breathing, diet, and other intriguing facts.

The activity concludes after 3.5 hours, returning to the departure pier.
