Discover the villages of Hautvillers and Mareuil-sur-Ay, considered the birthplace of French champagne, with this E-bike Champagne Day Tour & Lunch - a truly unique experience!

Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at the Tourist Office in Épernay. From this central point, we will travel by minibus along the central Avenue de Champagne, where you'll see the sculpture of Dom Pérignon.

Next, we will go to Le Clos Corbier to board our bicycles. We will cycle through the local UNESCO-recognized vineyards on an electric bike en route to the village of Hautvillers. In this village, you will find the remains of Dom Pérignon in the church and learn about his contributions to champagne production.

We'll also visit Le Clos Corbier, a local family winery, to see the grape growing process and taste three homemade champagnes.

At the end of the bike tour, we will head to the winery's country house for a traditional French lunch featuring homemade regional specialties alongside champagne, including pâté, quiche, lentils, cheeses, and rose de Reims biscuits.

The tour concludes with a return to the starting point in Épernay, lasting approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes.
