Scuba Diving for Beginners in Port d'Addaia

Your adventure begins at the dive center located in the commercial area of Port d'Addaia. The session will kick off with an informative briefing where you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving and get acquainted with the necessary equipment.

Following the introductory lesson on scuba diving, you'll be equipped with a wetsuit, booties, mask, and fins. We will then proceed to the port, where a boat awaits to transport us to our selected diving spot along the northern coast of Menorca.

Once suited up, we’ll enter the water and begin our dive, reaching depths of up to 12 metres. You will quickly adapt to using the regulator to breathe, making the experience feel effortless.

Your underwater exploration will last approximately 45 minutes, subject to your oxygen intake, giving you the opportunity to discover the marine ecosystem that surrounds Menorca. Be on the lookout for the vibrant marine wildlife inhabiting this region! We'll navigate through expansive seagrass beds, home to an array of fish species such as groupers, mullets, and numerous other fascinating marine beings.

After the dive concludes, we’ll return to the boat and journey back to the dive center in Port d'Addaia, wrapping up the activity after around 2.5 hours.

Important Information

Post-dive, it is essential to wait a minimum of 12 hours before boarding a flight or ascending to high altitudes.

Be aware that there may be occasions when we conduct the dives from the shore instead of using a boat, a detail that will depend on the tidal conditions on the activity day.
