Corcovado River Rafting
When you make your reservation, you can choose between a 13-kilometer (8-mile) or a 22-kilometer (14-mile) rafting route, both including an English-speaking instructor, necessary equipment, and a snack or picnic lunch.
Half-day rafting (3-4.5 hours)
From the base camp, we'll drive to the river, where we'll have a brief safety intro before starting the rafting. We'll cover 13km (8 mi) in about 2 hours, facing class II and III rapids amidst the Andes Mountains.
We'll conclude by the cement bridge crossing the Corcovado River, enjoying hot drinks, sponge cakes, and typical sweets called "facturas", before returning to the base camp.
Departure times: 10 am and 2 pm
Full-day rafting (6-7.5 hours)
For this option, we'll meet at the base camp and travel to the Río Hielo area for the rapids of the Corcovado River.
After a brief intro, we'll begin the longest rafting descent in Argentina, with 4 hours on the 22-kilometer (14-mile) route facing class III and IV rapids.
A halfway stop will include a picnic lunch with a steak sandwich, fruit, sweet, and water. Then, we’ll continue rafting to the Carreleufú footbridge before returning to the base camp.
