On this tour of the Amazigh market in the Haha Region, to the south of Essaouira, we'll delve into rural Moroccan life and visit an argan oil cooperative.

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at 287 Rue Oued El Makhazine to begin our journey to the southeast of Essaouira, specifically to the Amazigh town of Ida Ogourd. Get ready to experience the unique aromas, textures, and colors of this region.

At this weekly market, we will witness the authenticity of local life as residents shop and socialize in a familiar location. The market reflects the rhythm of deep-rooted traditions, where riding donkeys is still common, alongside a picturesque 'Donkey Parking' area.

We will explore stalls filled with fresh vegetables, exotic fruits, spices, and various services such as blacksmiths, welders, shoemakers, and barbers. The experience concludes with tea while we admire the vibrant surroundings.

Before returning to Essaouira, we’ll stop at an argan cooperative, learning about the production of this valuable oil, known as the Gold of Morocco. The guided tour will cover the extraction process by Amazigh women and include a tasting of the final product.

After 3.5 hours, we’ll conclude our experience back at the starting point, having immersed ourselves in Amazigh traditions.
