Dare to take on the sky-high walkways of the famous Caminito del Rey on this day trip from Estepona. We'll get to cross a footbridge over the impressive Gaitanes Gorge!

Caminito del Rey Excursion

We'll pick you up at the selected time on Avenida Litoral in Estepona and begin making our way to the Conde de Guadalhorce reservoir, located in the interior of the province of Málaga. Here is the famous Caminito del Rey.

After learning about the history of this path, inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1921, we'll put on safety helmets. Then, we will walk along the Caminito del Rey, whose wooden footbridge is suspended nearly 330 feet (100 meters) above the Guadalhorce River.

The path is just over 3 feet (1 meter) wide, offering magnificent panoramic views of the Gaitanes Gorge. We will cover a total of 1.9 miles (3 km) in approximately two and a half to three hours, making several stops to enjoy the stunning scenery.

At various viewpoints, you can take pictures of the Guadalhorce reservoir and the mountains of Málaga. The Caminito del Rey route concludes with our return to the starting point, where you will have an hour to rest and refuel - don’t forget to bring your picnic lunch!

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Estepona, arriving 10 hours after the start of the activity.
