Dare to take on the sky-high walkways of the famous Caminito del Rey on this day trip from Estepona. We'll get to cross a footbridge over the impressive Gaitanes Gorge!

Caminito del Rey Excursion

We'll pick you up at the selected time on Avenida Litoral in Estepona and begin our journey to the Conde de Guadalhorce reservoir, located in the province of Málaga, where the Caminito del Rey is situated.

After learning about the history of this path, inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1921, we'll adjust our safety helmets and start walking along the Caminito del Rey. The wooden footbridge is suspended nearly 330 feet (100 meters) above the Guadalhorce River.

This path is just over 3 feet (1 meter) wide and covers a total of 1.9 miles (3 km). The walk will take us two and a half to three hours, with various stops to enjoy the scenery. We'll stop at viewpoints for pictures of the Guadalhorce reservoir and the mountains of Málaga. The unique route will end with our return to the trail's beginning, where you'll have an hour to rest and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Estepona, arriving 10 hours after the start of the activity.
