Dare to take on the sky-high walkways of the famous Caminito del Rey on this day trip from Estepona. We'll get to cross a footbridge over the impressive Gaitanes Gorge!

Caminito del Rey Excursion

We'll pick you up at the selected time on Avenida Litoral in Estepona and travel to the Conde de Guadalhorce reservoir. Next to this reservoir, located within the province of Málaga, is the renowned Caminito del Rey.

After learning about the history of this path, inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1921, we'll adjust our safety helmets and begin our walk along the spectacular Caminito del Rey, whose wooden footbridge is suspended nearly 330 feet (100 meters) above the Guadalhorce River.

The path, just over 3 feet (1 meter) wide, offers magnificent panoramic views of the Gaitanes Gorge. We will cover a total of 1.9 miles (3 km), taking approximately two and a half to three hours, with several stops to enjoy the scenery. We will stop at viewpoints for photos of the Guadalhorce reservoir and the mountains of Málaga.

The unique route through the Caminito del Rey will conclude with our return to the trail's starting point, where you'll have an hour to rest and refuel - don’t forget to bring your picnic lunch!

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Estepona, arriving 10 hours after the activity begins.
