Cordoba Day Trip Itinerary

Set off from Estepona in the morning towards Cordoba. The bus journey will take approximately two and a half hours, offering views of the Andalusian countryside.

Begin with a guided walking tour of Cordoba's historic centre, focusing on the city's history from Ancient Rome when the famous stone bridge over the Guadalquivir River was constructed. This bridge may be familiar to Game of Thrones fans as it served as a filming location.

Next, explore the Jewish Quarter, known for its narrow streets and whitewashed houses. Visit the Medieval Synagogue, one of the best-preserved in Spain, and admire the famous "Cordoba patios" known for their vibrant flowers.

The tour concludes with a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral, or Mezquita of Cordoba, featuring remarkable architectural elements like extensive archways and columns, illustrating the significance of Islamic Spain.

After the guided tour of the Mezquita, you'll have about an hour of free time for lunch or to explore more of Cordoba's city centre, before the return journey to Estepona.
