Cordoba Day Trip Itinerary

Depart from Estepona in the morning for a bus journey of approximately two and a half hours to Cordoba, where you will enjoy views of the Andalusian countryside.

Your adventure begins with a guided walking tour of Cordoba's historic centre. Explore the city's history, which dates back to Ancient Rome, including the iconic stone bridge over the Guadalquivir River, noted as a filming location for Game of Thrones.

Next, visit the Jewish Quarter, featuring narrow streets and whitewashed houses. Here, you will see the Medieval Synagogue, one of the best-preserved in Spain, and admire the famous Cordoba patios, known for their vibrant flowers.

Complete your sightseeing with a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral, or Mezquita of Cordoba. This significant site showcases impressive architectural features like archways and columns, reflecting the era of Islamic Spain and the city's cultural importance.

After the tour of the Mezquita, you will have approximately one hour of free time for lunch or further exploration of Cordoba's city centre before returning to Estepona.
