Discover the splendour of historic Al-Andalus visiting the incredible historic centre of Cordoba, one of Spain's World Heritage Site cities, on this excursion from Estepona.

Cordoba Day Trip Itinerary

Set off from Estepona in the morning, heading towards Cordoba. The bus journey will take approximately two and a half hours, offering views of the Andalusian countryside.

Begin with a guided walking tour of Cordoba's historic centre. Explore the city's history, which dates back to Ancient Rome, including the famous stone bridge over the Guadalquivir River, recognized as a Game of Thrones filming location.

Next, visit the Jewish Quarter, characterized by narrow streets and whitewashed houses. Here, you will see the Medieval Synagogue, one of the best-preserved in Spain, and the renowned "Cordoba patios" adorned with vibrant flowers.

Your tour concludes with a guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral, known as the Mezquita of Cordoba. This significant architectural site features extensive archways and columns, reflecting the era of Islamic Spain and the city's historical importance.

After the Mezquita tour, you'll have around an hour of free time for lunch or to explore more of Cordoba's city centre, before the return journey to Estepona.
