On this guided tour of Estepona, we'll discover the charms of this gem on the Costa del Sol and learn about its history and flower-covered houses.
Tour Details
We will meet at the Jardines de Carmen Thyssen on Calle Terraza to begin this guided tour of Estepona. The tour starts with a visit to the Orquidiario, a botanical garden with more than 5,000 species of orchids. We will then explore the artistic murals while walking to Antonia Guerrero Square.
Next, we will visit the Jardín de los Poetas Andaluces, featuring verses from renowned Andalusian poets, and the Los Remedios church, notable for its impressive baroque facade.
The tour continues past the Clock Tower, a symbol of Estepona, and the Old Town Hall, now the Archeological Museum. We will also see the San Luis Castle, a medieval fortress rebuilt by the Catholic Monarchs after the Reconquista.
Finally, we conclude our 2-hour tour at the Plaza de las Flores and the Paseo Marítimo, Estepona's seafront promenade.
