Pinsapos Forest Hiking Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Punto Limpio in Estepona and set off toward the Bosque de Pinsapos de la Sierra Bermeja, a significant botanical area in the province of Malaga.
During our hike, we will explore the largest fir forest on peridotite stones in the world. The tour will cover the unique features of this area and the adaption of different species to the rugged terrain.
Participants will learn about the main tree and shrub species of the Spanish fir forest, alongside the historical commercial activities in the region. A highlight of the route will be the views over the Mediterranean Sea and the Genal Valley.
After a four-hour hike through the Bosque de Pinsapos de Estepona, we will return to the starting point, concluding the tour.
