Pinsapos Forest Hiking Tour
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Punto Limpio in Estepona and depart toward the Bosque de Pinsapos de la Sierra Bermeja, noted for its botanical significance in the province of Malaga.
During the hike, we will explore the largest fir forest on peridotite stones globally. We will discuss the area's characteristics and the diverse species that have adapted to the terrain.
Participants will learn about the main tree and shrub species in the Spanish fir forest and the historical commercial activities in this region. Additionally, we will enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Genal Valley.
The tour includes a four-hour hike through the Bosque de Pinsapos de Estepona and will conclude upon returning to the starting point.
