Tangier Day Trip

After picking you up in Estepona, we will travel to the port of Tarifa, situated at the southernmost point of Cadiz province. From there, we will take a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to the city of Tangier.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a sightseeing bus tour, passing landmarks including the Sidi Bou Abib Mosque, known for its notable pink minaret.

A guided tour will follow, focusing on the center of Tangier, where we will visit the old town, or Medina, and the Kasbah, an impressive medieval fortified citadel, while unveiling historical narratives about past Sultans.

The itinerary includes a visit to the Tangier souk, the city’s vibrant market. Experience its bustling lanes and admire various products, ranging from spices to silks.

The walking tour concludes at a local restaurant where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch featuring harira, beef skewers, chicken or vegetable couscous, accompanied by Moroccan tea and sweets.

After lunch, we will visit a bazaar to further explore Tangier’s local culture, with vibrant spices and exquisite rugs on display.

Finally, we will return to the city’s port for the ferry back to Tarifa, followed by the return trip to Estepona.
