Workshop Details

We'll meet at the Hotel Kanz Erremal at the designated time to start the henna workshop. Learn the secrets of this art in the heart of the desert of Merzouga. We will explore the cultural significance of henna in Morocco, traditionally used at weddings, religious celebrations, and other special events to protect against the evil eye or invoke fertility.

You will see the preparation process of henna paste and the traditional technique to apply the drawings. Berber women will guide you in drawing popular symbols, such as flowers that represent joy and fertility. You’ll then have the chance to create your own henna design on your hand or foot, along with tips on how to maintain the tattoo for longer. After this 1-hour activity, we will conclude at the entrance of your hotel.
