Workshop Details

We will meet at the Hotel Kanz Erremal to start the henna workshop. This session will explore the cultural significance of henna in Morocco, which has been used for centuries to adorn hands and feet at weddings, religious celebrations, and other special events. Common symbols used are meant to protect against the evil eye or invoke fertility.

You'll learn about the preparation process of henna paste and the traditional technique for applying designs. Guided by Berber women, you will have the opportunity to draw popular symbols, such as flowers representing joy and fertility. Following a brief explanation, you can create your own henna design on your hand or foot, which will serve as a memorable souvenir from your trip. Additionally, tips will be provided on how to maintain the tattoo on your skin for longer.

After this 1-hour activity, we will conclude at the entrance of your hotel.
