Breiðdalur Valley Jeep Tour

At your indicated time, we'll meet at Selnes 28-30 in Breiðdalsvík. We'll then set off on our jeep tour through the Breiðdalur Valley, the largest and most extensive area in eastern Iceland.

As we drive along the Breiðdalur trails, we'll take in the beauty of our surroundings. We'll soon cross an old stone bridge over the Breiðdalsá River, offering a scenic view.

Our jeep tour will continue through the steep roads leading to the impressive Beljandi Waterfall, a notable attraction in this region.

Another waterfall we'll see is the Flögufoss Waterfall. Here, we'll exit the jeep to explore the area and capture views of the waterfall. Afterwards, we'll travel to Jórvík, an abandoned farm where we'll learn about the Icelandic lifestyle at the end of the 19th century.

The last stop on our jeep tour is Heydalir Church. This site provides insight into stories and legends about East Iceland.

After 4 hours of exploration, we'll conclude our tour of the Breiðdalur Valley back at the meeting point.
