Description
At the time of your choice, we'll meet in the Las Croabas area of Fajardo. As the sun begins to set, we'll embark on an adventure to Laguna Grande, one of the famous bioluminescent bays of Puerto Rico.
On our kayaks, we'll enter a channel filled with red, black and button mangroves and learn about the species that inhabit these aquatic forests of Puerto Rico. If you're quiet, you'll hear the sounds of nature!
As it gets darker, you'll begin to see the star attraction: bioluminescent microorganisms in the water. These organisms activate a glowing mechanism as a form of defense to movement, creating a unique spectacle as we paddle through the water.
After exploring this natural phenomenon over the course of two hours, we'll return to the starting point.
