Bioluminescent Bay Kayak Tour

Paddle through bioluminescent waters on this evening kayak tour through Laguna Grande in Fajardo.

Description

At your selected time, we'll meet in the Las Croabas area of Fajardo. We will then embark on an adventure to Laguna Grande, a well-known bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico.

Using our kayaks, we will navigate through a channel filled with red, black, and button mangroves and learn about the various species inhabiting these dense aquatic forests. By remaining quiet, you might hear the sounds of nature.

As darkness falls, the spotlight will be on the bioluminescent microorganisms in the water, which glow as a defense mechanism triggered by movement, creating a distinct spectacle as we paddle.

After exploring this natural phenomenon for two hours, we will return to the starting point.
