Description
At your chosen time, we will meet in the Las Croabas area of Fajardo. As the sun sets, we will explore Laguna Grande, one of Puerto Rico’s renowned bioluminescent bays.
While kayaking, we will navigate through a channel filled with red, black, and button mangroves and learn about the species inhabiting these aquatic forests. With a quiet approach, you might hear the sounds of nature.
As darkness falls, the stars of the show will emerge: bioluminescent microorganisms in the water. These organisms activate a glowing mechanism in response to movement, creating a unique phenomenon as we paddle.
After enjoying this natural spectacle for two hours, we will return to the starting point.
