The tour meets at the chosen time at Faro port, ready to climb aboard a speedboat on the way to Barreta Island. All aboard!
Barreta Island is located within the Ría Formosa Natural Park, which is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal. It is the most southerly point of Portugal, situated in the Algarve.
During the tour, participants will sail through the natural landscape, enjoying the cool breeze and views of the wetlands. Participants will learn why the island is nicknamed "Ilha Deserta" (desert island) during a walk around it.
After 1 or 2 hours of exploring the landscapes of the Ría Formosa, the group will return to the port, concluding the activity.
