Speedboat to Barreta Island
The tour meets at the chosen time at Faro port, ready to embark on a speedboat to Barreta Island. This island, located within the Ría Formosa Natural Park, is the southernmost point of Portugal in the Algarve region.
Participants will sail through this unspoiled landscape, enjoying the breeze and views of the wetlands. The island is nicknamed "Ilha Deserta" (desert island), and visitors will learn why during a walk around the area.
After 1 or 2 hours of exploring the landscapes of the Ría Formosa, the tour will conclude with a return to the port.
