Discover the essence of Caxias do Sul as we venture into the Ana Rech neighbourhood. This journey takes you through the rich history of Italian immigration in Brazil, a narrative that will captivate your imagination!

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, a convenient pick-up will be arranged from your accommodation in Caxias do Sul, setting the stage for our exploration of the Ana Rech neighbourhood. This area is named in honor of a notable figure who significantly impacted the region's immigration history. You will soon understand why it's often referred to as a “village charm”!

En route, we’ll enjoy a brief tour of the vibrant university town of Caxias do Sul. Upon reaching Ana Rech, our first destination will be Paisagens do Tempo, a nostalgic site that bridges generations. Here, you can view a remarkable collection of vintage toys, rag dolls, board games, and local handicrafts. Additionally, there’ll be a chance to purchase regional colonial goods.

Our next stop is the Epopéia Imigrante exhibition, a captivating visual experience that narrates the immigration saga. Through the art displayed, you'll delve into stories filled with dreams and hard work, offering a profound insight into this crucial aspect of local culture!

We will then proceed to explore the Mini City of Cork, an intriguing miniature representation of a town constructed entirely of cork. If our visit falls on a weekday (Friday to Sunday), we’ll also make a stop at Vila Dei Troni, a significant development in Caxias do Sul, designed to recreate a historical 19th-century village that is anticipated to become a cultural landmark.

To conclude our tour, we will visit a themed bar at Rio do Vento Hidroponia. This notable location harmoniously blends its distinct ambiance with a berry farm specializing in strawberries and blackberries. You will have an hour of leisure to enjoy a drink at the bar or wander through the scenic area.

At the end of our enriching experience, we’ll reconvene as planned and escort you back to your hotel, marking the conclusion of approximately 6 hours of exploration.
