Bento Gonçalves & Pinto Bandeira Excursion

Pickup will be at 8:20 am from your hotel in Caxias do Sul, beginning our tour to Bento Gonçalves and Pinto Bandeira. This tour is designed for those who appreciate wine and natural landscapes.

Our first stop will be in Pinto Bandeira, which was part of Bento Gonçalves until 2012. We will visit two wineries: Cave Geisse, known for its sparkling wines, and Don Giovanni, a specialist in aged wines. Wine tastings will be provided at each location.

Next, we will head to Bento Gonçalves for a tour of Caminos de Pedra, a historic road showcasing the influence of Italian and Gaucho culture in the architecture. You will receive insightful information during this tour.

We will also stop at Casa da Erva Mate, where you can learn about its history and purchase ingredients for chimarrão, the famous drink of Rio Grande do Sul. Additionally, we will visit the Strapazzon Canteen, a stone house built in the late 19th century.

Before returning, there will be a final stop for lunch on your own at a local restaurant, providing an opportunity to explore local gastronomy. We will conclude the tour by returning to Caxias do Sul and dropping you off at your hotel around 5 pm.
