On this hiking route through the fields of Criúva, participants will learn about local folklore and the gastronomy of Rio Grande do Sul.

Criúva Fields Hiking Tour

At the scheduled time, pickups will be made at hotels in Caxias do Sul to begin the night hike through the Criúva fields. This hike covers approximately 4 kilometres (2.4 miles) through natural landscapes including forests and waterfalls. The trail leads to the Palanquinhos canyon and Morro 360.

Participants will also visit the Bertussi Brothers Memorial to learn about their history. The hike continues to the Korff Bridge, significant for the settlers in the region.

As night falls, the hike continues through the fields of Criúva where a guide will share well-known folklore legends.

The experience concludes with a moonlit dinner featuring traditional dishes such as 'mateiro' rice and melted cheese, all prepared on traditional iron griddles and paired with wine.

After nine hours, the tour ends with a return to the hotel.
