Day Trip to Fortaleza & Itaimbezinho Canyons

We'll pick you up at 6:30 am at your hotel in Caxias do Sul and head out to Cambará do Sul, where you'll be able to buy some breakfast if you wish.

After eating, we'll travel in a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle to the Fortaleza Canyon. There we'll take a walk to the Pedra do Segredo viewpoint for views of the gorge, noted for its beauty in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.

We'll then have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Itaimbezinho Canyon. We'll explore this gorge by hiking the Cotobelo trail, a 3-hour, low-difficulty hike. Additionally, we'll do a short hike on the Vértice trail, which takes about 30 minutes.

Finally, from the Itaimbezinho Canyon, we'll return to your hotel in Caxias do Sul, arriving at 6 pm.
