Day Trip to Fortaleza & Itaimbezinho Canyons

We'll pick you up at 6:30 am at your hotel in Caxias do Sul and head out to Cambará do Sul, where you'll be able to buy some breakfast if you wish.

After eating, we'll travel in a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle to the Fortaleza Canyon. There we'll take a walk to the Pedra do Segredo viewpoint for a view of the gorge, regarded as one of the most spectacular in Rio Grande do Sul.

Next, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant. Following that, we will visit the Itaimbezinho Canyon.

We will explore this gorge through the Cotobelo trail on a 3-hour, low-difficulty hike, allowing you to appreciate the scenery. Additionally, a short hike on the Vértice trail will last about 30 minutes.

Finally, from the Itaimbezinho Canyon, we will return to your hotel in Caxias do Sul, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
