Day Trip to Igrejinha & the Khadro Ling Buddhist Temple

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul at the indicated time, and head south of the city.

Our first stop will be at the Khadro Ling Buddhist Temple, one of the major Tibetan sanctuaries in Rio Grande do Sul. Established in the 1990s, the temple resides on a mountaintop and is currently maintained by a small community.

After an introduction to the temple's history, you'll have three hours of free time to explore this serene sanctuary surrounded by abundant vegetation, ideal for relaxation and meditation.

Next, we'll visit Igrejinha, which developed in the late 19th century due to the German immigrant population. You will have another three hours to enjoy the town's Germanic heritage, local cuisine, and handicraft shopping.

Finally, we'll reunite in the center of Igrejinha for our return to Caxias do Sul, arriving back at your hotel around 7 pm.
