On this excursion starting from Caxias do Sul, we'll explore the widespread worship of Buddha in southern Brazil. Our first stop will be the impressive Khadro Ling Buddhist temple, followed by a visit to the charming town of Igrejinha.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Caxias do Sul at the indicated time, and head south of the city.

Our first stop will be at the Khadro Ling Buddhist Temple, a major Tibetan sanctuary in Rio Grande do Sul. The temple, established in the 1990s, is located on a mountaintop and is maintained by a small community.

After an introduction to the temple's history, you will have three hours of free time to explore this serene site surrounded by vegetation that encourages relaxation and meditation.

Next, we will visit Igrejinha, a town developed in the late 19th century by German immigrants. You will have another three hours to appreciate the town's Germanic heritage, enjoy the local cuisine, and shop for handicrafts.

Finally, we will reunite in the center of Igrejinha and return to Caxias do Sul, arriving back at your hotel at around 7 pm.
