Day Trip to Morro Reuter & Ivoti

On this day trip to Morro Reuter and Ivoti, we will follow the famous Romantic Road from Caixas do Sul to explore the German and Japanese heritage in Brazil.

Day Trip Details

The day trip begins with hotel pickup in Caixas do Sul. We will head to Morro Reuter, a village settled by Germans in the 19th century. Upon arrival, we will visit Lavandário do Morro to enjoy the lavender fields. Later, we will go to the Parque de Mosaicos Caminho das Serpentes for an exploration of mosaic art in a lush environment.

Next, we will visit a ceramics workshop and a monument dedicated to books. After, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Following this, we will proceed to Ivoti, stopping at the Japanese Colony and the Colony Memorial to learn about Japanese settlement in the 1960s. In Ivoti, we will observe its German architectural legacy. If visiting on a weekend, we can explore the local arts, culture, and food fair. You will have additional free time to enjoy coffee and the city’s culture.

We will return to your hotel in Caxias do Sul after approximately 10 hours.
