Day Trip to Morro Reuter & Ivoti

On this day trip to Morro Reuter and Ivoti, we'll follow the famous Romantic Road from Caixas do Sul.

Day Trip Details

We will start this day trip after picking you up from your hotel in Caixas do Sul. Our first destination is Morro Reuter, a village colonized by Germans in the 19th century. Upon arrival, we will visit the Lavandário do Morro to enjoy the aroma of lavender fields, followed by a trip to the Parque de Mosaicos Caminho das Serpentes (Serpent's Path Mosaic Park) to observe various artworks and a woodcut exhibition.

Next, we will visit a ceramics workshop and a monument dedicated to books. Afterward, you will have free time to lunch at a local restaurant.

Following this, we will head to Ivoti, stopping by the Japanese Colony and the Colony Memorial to learn about Japanese settlement in the 1960s. Upon reaching Ivoti, you will see its German legacy reflected in the architecture. If it is the weekend, we will visit the local arts, culture, and food fair. You will have free time to enjoy an afternoon coffee while experiencing the local culture.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Caxias do Sul, concluding approximately 10 hours of activities.
