Day Trip to Nova Petrópolis

This day trip to Nova Petrópolis focuses on German culture and the traditions of German immigrants in Rio Grande do Sul.

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel in Caxias do Sul to head to Nova Petrópolis.

The tour begins with a visit to a rosehip shop to explore local traditions. Next, we will visit Pedras do Silêncio Park, where we will learn about the history of German immigrants in Brazil. The park features over 80 sculptures that depict the customs and professions of these settlers.

Our next stop will be the Fábrica Uruguaya de Alfajores, where we will learn about the production of this popular sweet.

A lunch break will follow at a local restaurant, after which we will visit the Edelbrau brewery. We will also stop at a viewpoint for a scenic view of Nova Petrópolis.

Before leaving, there will be free time to explore Nova Petrópolis, with a recommendation to visit the Praça das Flores.

We will return to Caxias do Sul, concluding the tour after approximately 8.5 hours.
